In the Facebook community, each user has a customizable profile page. This page can include personal details, such as your religion and relationship status, lists of activities and interests, and previous and current school and work affiliations. Changing Your Status

The status area appears to the left of your Facebook profile picture. Click on the Edit link. If this is your first time creating a status post, you can skip the highlighting step. When you are finished typing, click anywhere outside of the text box, and your message will be accepted. There is a 160-character limit, including spaces. Each entry remains on the page for one week unless you change it sooner.
