Hiding groups on MySapce only takes a few steps:

1. Log in to your MySpace account.
2. Under Control Panel, click on the "Settings" icon.
3. You will see a menu at the top, click on "Miscellaneous."
4. You will see some options for you to check off. The first one has the "Groups" heading that says, "Display Groups on Profile." You want to uncheck this box.
5. Press "Save Changes" and you are all set.

Make Your Profile Private

Another way to keep others from knowing about your groups and other personal information is by making your profile private. This means that no one can see your MySpace page without being on your friend's list. When people search for you, they will see your profile picture, your name and personal statement. If someone clicks on your name, he or she will receive a message that says that your profile is marked private and only friends can view your page. This person needs to send you a message and a friend's request for you to approve before proceeding.

Changing Your Profile's Privacy Setting

5. Click on "Save Changes" and your page is now only accessible to people who have permission.
