Twitter Widgets

From LoveToKnow SocialNetworking

Twitter widgets, also called "Twitter apps," are small programs that you can install on a computer or mobile device that allows you to get real-time updates of those you follow. Some widgets let you post right from the program without needing to log on to the Twitter website. Mostly, though, widgets are simple applications that keep you up-to-date so you don't need to have Twitter constantly open in a browser as you do other tasks on the computer.
