Thanks for your comment Taylor. Since this article was published, many of the valid proxy sites linked to were eventually blocked by many admins. It's a virtual cat-and-mouse game and few proxy sites stay active for very long. This proxy websites article describes how some of that works - you can stay ahead of the game by finding new proxy sites that are active, with the understanding that eventually they'll get blocked too.
